the kicker will give you over 2500 watts with anywhere from $100-200 still in your pocket. my birthsheet claims 2960w@ 2 ohms

i suggest you use that money for a stout HO alternator

pickler: i think what he was saying was that he wants a 2500w amp, and then he named off good brands he trusts so that we know hes not really trying to go cheap on the amp. dont think alpine makes anything close to a 2500w amp. just my .02

the kicker will be more than enough, they're great amps.
