Does this wire look too hot???? (PICS)

Melting insulator is a BAD thing... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
ya i know im saying if it gets to that point (which i seriously doubt) then you have a major problem //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. But i guess I was just pointing out common sense.... Not taking a nap ftl

I would say it is good to point out the obvious... People tend to over look it... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

i have the same brand wire but in silver... it does the same thing in spots that are in my cabin so it's not from engine heat... guess it's normal...

I dont know what motor that is but i would consider putting the wire around the motor instead of under the cover. Ive seen wires melt under the heat next to the exhaust manifold. Your radiator hose touching your wire as well? Ive seen a radiator hose melt a fallen fuse holder.

Looks like a GM motor of sorts.

Color changing at the fuse block may indicate a less-than-optimal connection at the block, possibly causing small amounts of arcing, heating up the wire. Just make sure its all nice and tight. If you dont have any issues with getting power and what not, youre good.
