again, who is in power of the senate and house? they have video of the finance chairman for the democrats declaring that sally mae and freddy mac did not need to be regulated. can't get any more proof than that...

At the time of the bill in question, the Republicans were in control of the Senate. It was never brought forward for voting by the Republicans.

Solely blaming the Democrats for such a wide-spread economic crisis shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the history of the US economy.
