My first question still hasn't been answered. Is the volume X-(sub driver volume)=0.6 or do you build a .6 box then stick the sub in?

Usually you account for the driver displacements in the overall plan.

Poly fill is one of those personal preference things. With that large of an enclosure you probably wont need any but its so cheap to try it out.

That converted into Cubic Feet is 0.828 so I'm assuming I need to create a box that's 0.828 cubic feet big? Can anyone confirm this? If thats the case its not a big deal I will just increase the length of the box to up the volume.

You actually want to stay away from cube shaped enclosures unless you have beveled edges.

dont mean to jack thread but is that 'there CAN be' or 'there WILL be'?

is there a 'perfect' shape/dimension for a sealed box?

sealed is sealed, doesnt matter if the box is square or rectangular. The only variable will be the application of its use. Some people cant fit a cube in their vechicle so a narrower rectangular shape is desired for a better fit.
