Does this price sound right?

I called a local dealer for an 18" basket and recone kit, he gives me some outragous price of 350, yea right. I call RE themselves and they could get it to me $100 cheaper. hmmmmmmmmmmm. But they ask me if im a dealer before they gave me a price, should I have told em I was to get a cheaper price or what?
