Using two 200a ANL Fuses for the first dist block.

Using 2 60a AGU fuses for teh 2nd dist block.

-What size fuse should I use for the alt?

-What size fuses shoudl I use for both sides of the wire connecting the 2 batteries?

-Do I need a battery isolator if I do not plan on running my system with the car off?

Input please //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif If someone looks wrong on my diagram please do not hesitate to give me some advice. Thanks in advance fellas!

EDIT: The big 3 wire for my engine block to ground goes.. from engine block to battery neg post. If I upgrade that wire should I just run a seperate wire straight from engine block to the ground spot or should I run that wire to the neg battery post?

You forgot an important piece of information in that diagram...wire gauges //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Since you fuse for the wire, sort of need to know that information //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I thought you were supposed to fuse both sides for the batteries.

All of the wire is 0awg except out of the first dist block it goes to 4awg then out of the 2nd dist block it goes to 8awg.

You're right, you want to put a fuse anywhere where the wire has the chance to come in contact with ground, as close to the battery as possible.

Sounds like you should be fusing the main power leads for 200A.

Shouldn't need an isolator.

Awesome. So do you think everything else looks good?

Standard Installation Instructions:

When replacing your existing battery, wire the vehicles positive wiring harness to the positive terminal on the power cell, wire the negative wiring harness to the negative terminal on the power cell.

Should I wire the neg battery terminal from the redtop to the neg on the kinetik?

No, you can just ground it to some place in the trunk or wherever you're putting it.
