Does the Orion 1200d Have a Turn-Off Delay or Not

Okay ya'll, I have installed my new setup in the sig, and I have no complaints in terms of output. However, I do have an annoying noise with the 1200d amp (not the 3002).

The noise occurs when the deck is powered off, deck is on and the car is turned off, when the volume is turned down to 0, and when the cd changes tracks.

I have checked the RCA's, swapped RCA's between the 1200d and the 3002, I even rewired the remote to the car's ignition and I even tried the battery wire with a switch. Oh, and I have a relay already to turn on my amps. Yes, I even tried it without the relay. Also, I swapped grounds between the two amps as well.

Nothing seems to work. BTW, I have no hissing noise or alternator whine whatsoever.

So, I came to the conclusion that the amp is the culprit and I imagine that the 1200d doesn't have a muting turn-off feature. I don't know if that's true or not. Seems to be though.

Does anyone know for sure if the Orion 1200d has the turn-off feature or not?

I may end up ordering this to try and solve the problem.... Stinger SPSOFF?

I don't think its your amps fault.

What kind of noise? Mine has no un-usual noise...

Well my 1200d makes no pop noise upon turn off... Might be your amp.

Not the amp, its the HU turning the RCA's off before it sends the shut down signal to the amp, its like pulling out the RCA's and sticking them back in while the amp is turned on, you'll get a popping/thumping sound.

Although, I've seen weird stuff happen when the ground cable was too small for the amp including "pops" when the system shut down.

Yeah, I am going to check the grounds once, I get time later today. Otherwise, I will order that Stinger item.
