Does anyone know if when your car is seizure and intended forfetiture form theft if you usally get your car back i know when you get caught with drugs its automatic you lose your vehicle for good but what about for theft it was 2 items for about maybe 800 dollars total. So is it up to the judge really or a amount of money? Anyone have experience with this? Also will you be able to get your personal items including car audio stuff back as well if not the car at least the car audio equipment? I can not seem to find anything online for ppl that have done this.

most likley its gone. you can try with the judge that you didnt know your friends has stolen stuff on them.. if hes a dick its gone, if he feels bad inpounded for 30 days ( 1500-3000 dollars ) but you will get it back

well they say its a theft crime and the car is being used to transport the items so they took it away and now i have to wait till court date there was only 2 items in there so i thin kthey can only hold me accountable for those 2 items but i had alot of stuff at my house apparently..... which all totaled up to 20,000 anyways its my stupid fault for thinking i could steal from work and get away with it i am now suffering from it for my dumb *** mistake and trying to find out if i will get my car back. but there was only 2 things in my car so they cant prove that the other items where taken with my car but still you know. So any ideas on this situation?

you will get your car audio equip back, Im not sure what the judge will do but the thing that might happen will be that he says your shit was also stolen, and in that case u have to prove that you bought it I have no clue about the car tho

well it wont be hard proving that i bought my stuff since its all been paid thru from paypal. and all at different dates before i started taking things from work. I dont know wtf i was thinking.. I learned my lesson but stiull have to pay a hefty price for it.
