Does anyone know how?

I was reading through some old Autosound&Security mags and saw an installation in a Nissan 240 that had what they called "Activated glass"

covering fuses, amps, etc. It stated that it was a slice of LCD sandwiched between

two thin sheets of glass, when activated glass changes from opaque to clear at

the push of a button. It was in the May 2002 issue. Does anyone know how to

do this. I think it looks awesome, and would like to add to my vehicle.
