My friend works @ Fry's electronics (also commonly known as Outpost) and he gets the employee discount. Because the MSRP is so high, even with the discount, it doesn't come close to the prices the interweb has to offer. Forget about the employee discount and resolve to the internets for a win.

This is true if you want to purchase the items IN the store you work at.

If you get the items through ACCOMODATIONS... it is ENTIRELY untrue. With accomodations, you purchase directly from the manufacturer for HUGE discounts.
