Does Anyone Have Experience With Fatmat?

fatmat seems to be much cheaper than dynamat "as with everything else".... I'm jusst seeing if anyone on here has had it and would like to share some feedback with me as far as the pros and cons.

is it worth buying?

or what deadener is the best bang for the buck?

Not butyl backed, not worth it. To me the best bang for the buck is B stock, Raamat offers it, cheap as hell, and works amazing

Whatever you go with, make sure its butyl based

i've installed and seen results from it. Does wonders. 95 thunderbird trunk got 2 layers of fatmat all over and it produced absolutely no rattle.

I've used it quite a bit and I like it. asphalt based part kinda sucks but it works. I still have 50sq.ft. roll laying around I haven't touched yet

It does its job for it being cheap. other expensive products see better results but It does its job. and 2 layers are defiantly better when you use fatmat. lol

+1 I got about 40ft of Fatmat for $30 BEFORE I got a Dynamat Extreme hook up and it DOESNT compare.

Ive only used these two so for but I can tell you DE is about twice as thick and twice a tacky.

only thing I would say is, its better then nothing I suppose

I got fatmat in mine, 2 layers worth per MECA rules and it worked just fine.
