Anyone? Reason being, I was talking to this guy that was a friend of a friend, and he said he liked Metal. I asked him who a few of his favorite artists were, and I got Slayer and Slipknot. To me, thats not metal. It just bugs me when people affiliate those bands with that term. That's not metal though, not at all. I respect what they did, and it did carve the way for what we have now. But I honestly can't stand to listen to any of those bands you mentioned.

But the double bass isn't that impressive and the guitar riffs are simple for people to play now.

Learn to play the into to Alaska by Between the Buried and Me, now thats original
