alpine HU's or amps have phase switches. my subs are pulling and not pushing so im thinking there out of phase. its wired right, checked 876 times if the wiring was right. so i was just wondering if there is a phase switch somewhere on my amp or HU (listed in sig)

there could be an electronic phase adjustment in the hu's xover settings

or just change the wiring.......

On Alpines, it's usually in the sub menu...so press the volume knob to bring up the subwoofer level control, should be in that menu.

But more importantly, how does it sound? You may find that it sounds better that way, as long as everything is in absolute phase the relative phase doesn't matter a whole lot.

i tried every wiring combination possible. then i tried one sub to one amp, thats pretty hard to **** up, and it still pulled instead of pushed. and for how it sounds...sounds like ***

switching the phase is just changing the + to - and the - to + it's not fvcking anything up... maybe your amp is the problem.

the box build is fine. wood glue and screws hold it together, and its got caulk inside/out

if you switched the wires and you didnt get what you expected you're 'problem' has nothing to do with phase adjustment

The difference phase makes can vary a lot depending on the install...
