Does AB VFL1880 1D do rated?

It says on the site American Bass - VFL 1880 1D that it does 900rms@1 ohm, but it is only supposed to have a 40 amp inline fuse? How is that correct? I take it it can not do rated?

Micro processor amp. I haven't clamped one. But bob says yes it does rated. The micro mini amps need less fusing because the processor boosts the power at the power rails. To make rated

OK thank you very much, what impact does having the processor boost power have on the amp? Just an efficiency thing? Would there be a noticeable difference in sound quality between this and a regular sized amplifier? Thank you for the quick reply!

It raises efficiency as well. These are 90%+
