alright, lets try to actually answer this question...

typically, a larger ported box yields more SPL than a smaller ported box. i say typically, because there are some other things to consider, tuning, port area, and all the parameters that can shift with the box being bigger.

it will have a better low frequency extension yes. but response in car could vary, with cabin gain.

youre on the right track, and yes, if we were talking about the box and driver without an application that would be correct. but in car response has more factors to consider.
