Well I'm building a custom box and trying to see whats recommended.

should I remove the backseat and build the box according to that..

or should I keep my backseat, put it up.. and build the box in the remaining space..

I mean I do not give any rides... except to my girlfriend..

I recently removed it from my dodge quad cab to make room for 2 xxx 15's.
Do you have any images that i can look at?

just trying to get a general idea how im going to do this...

Also

Thanks For All The Suggestions and Replies.

Those trucks are really difficult to build boxes in

However I do have a design that slams in them with two 10” subs

Just very difficult to build (I have the exact post in the enclosure thread)

How much bass do you really want or need

Here is a center console I do for that truck too

Well I had my 2 12's Orion HCCA subs built in a custom 56.5in long enclosure that covered the whole bench..

The Box Banged and Wanged But....oops if i would suddenly stop the box would come flying forward..still couldnt find a resonable way to Secure them so i figured I'd take them out until I come up with a better solution..

I installed those subs in a custom enclosure in my Girlfriends Acura RL..

During installation I figured she can have my 12's and ill just use my 15's...

So i started planning I thought i could just build around my bench seat and Fiberglass the box so it would be a perfect fit but im Novice/Noob when it comes to things like that so im staying clear away from Fiberglass for now.

I was thinking I would be limited to 3 12's or just 1 15.. but i saw a setup earlier that had 2 15's in a dodge like mine just trying to get some general ideas how i should design the box.

I really do like that Custom Center Console though

I took Out My Benchseat today, just to get some measuring done and realized there is room there if not more than enough room to build a box in there my only concern is how i should start on the floor... because theres alot of grooves and curves in the flooring of my dodge..

I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on how I should do the flooring in my dodge..

Thanks to You all for all the SERIOUS replies..

So want big bass, remove the back seat kind of bass

Dude I Love That Box Design!, what exactly is the box sitting on?

you have anymore images so i can see how the box is sitting inside the truck (on the floor and on the side)

great box design...this is what i was looking for! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D

The box is down fire the sides of the box are like legs (rest on the floor of the truck)

The bottom of the box is about 5” off the floor

Good and loud; it loads up the bass wave good in the cab so the bass is good and low in the driver seat (near field) you can make it as loud as you want

I have done many 4-10”s 2-3-and 4 12”s ported
