Dodge Nitro DVD install (HELP!)

Can you solve it?
Tonight has not gone well fellas and I need some help. I have a 2007 Dodge Nitro. I decided a few weeks ago to buy an Eonon DVD unit because I wanted to do a full review on the unit for here and if it worked I figured it would make for a nice cheap HU for the truck (if not I am only out a couple hundred).

Well I got past the whole CAN bus issue by running a power line to the fuse box. My problem is the **** opening is 3.9" and the dvd player space needed 4". Has anyone delt with Nitro installs? What did you do to get around the height issue. I was thinking of using a dremel and removing a bit of the material but wanted some opinions before doing anything.

HELP! :p Thanks

Just got back from buying a dremel and I think that is the route I will go...but I wanted to see if there was an easier (cleaner) option.

*crosses his fingers* lets hope this works and doesn't look like crap LOL!

Thanks for the thought though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

on the dodge/ crystler vehicles ur best bet is to go to the dodge/ crystler dealer, and order a new dash piece for the vehicles with factory navagation.

then the dash whole is the size you need. no cutting..

then you just get a dub din dash kit and it fit's like a charm and looks factory.
