Do you use or not Terminal Cups ?

I probably should, but usually just a hole with sealent around it, because im a lazy broke bastard and dont like to wait for them to ship.

I use those as well as I don't have to wait for shipping and they're cheap yet strong enough to not cause any issues with noise.

Oh, and to the thread starter: Don't worry about your English; you are easier to understand than many of the high school graduates in the United States that are on this forum.

I use a hole. Run the cable thru, tie a knot in it then fill it up with liquid nails.

Only problem with that (I'm using the same one), is you gotta use small wire, cut a huge hole in your box for it to fit, and the plastic nuts are hard to tighten enough so they won't vibrate loose without stripping them

I use 12 gauge wire with mine and I have no problem getting the wire in nor do I have issues with them vibrating loose. The hole cutout can be stressful but not if you're good with a jigsaw.

There is no better connection than copper to copper. They don't make voice coils out of steel for very good reasons; one being it is not a good conductor. There are no solid copper terminals on todays subwoofers that I am aware nor are there any solid copper connectors other then some butt connectors. The fewer connections you have the better off you are.

As mentioned before drill a hole slightly larger then your speaker wire and run it directly from your speaker terminal, or with our subs twist and tape the lead wire connection, tape or knot the wire so it won't pull out of the box and add a little sealer if you think you need it and you're done.

On nearly every box I build, I use 12-14ga speaker wire.

-Drill

-Run wire thru

-Hot glue

-Bend wire over and staple to inside wall of box ~2" from hole.

No leaks, ever.

Even cheap terminal cups will accept 12awg.... and when glassed into the box with some hair & epoxy, work just fine......

I find the look of terminal cups quite ugly and cheap, so I don't use them.
