Do you use bass boost?

yes I use a few db on the amp ( @45hz and fairly narrow) but have the headunits bass (100hz and broad curve) down quite a bit more but 60hz on the eq bumped up 2db. Now that its set where I like it all I mess with is the sub level control. On rare occasion I'll turn the bass knob up a tick but never up to actually flat (0 db).

Only use it for burps IF it shows a gain.

For music, No. It's the devil, and we all know that the Bass Boost makes the Baby Jesus cry.

It's hard to find the old fashioned stuff anymore actually. Glad the new unit has the features you like. In future I'd always suggest calling up...

Brahmas are nice. I have a 10" Mk1. Just a single 10 was enough for me.
