Do you tip Asians and Mexicans less than Real Americans?

Ate Chinese buffet today. We left $0 tip. (Swear to god).

Chinese Buffet...Quite possibly the most unhealthy and dangerous place

you could possible choose to eat............

However buffets is serve yourself why leave a tip at all ?

I tip according to personality......Usually I am a 15-20% tipper and I have been known to go even higher than that IF I am taken real good care of....(big drinks)

but race has nothing to do with it..So you chain Rest bartenders listen up

Is this thread a joke? I always walk into a restaurant with the intention of tipping 20% and only if there is bad service do I tip less. And by bad I don't mean having to wait a little while once for refill.

i do the same shit at this all you can eat chinese buffet by my house

all they do is seat you, and bring you water. most of the time they just put a pitcher on my table anyways, so they come to the table one time. not getting a tip for doing that shit.

I do typically tip spanish less because I know they are probably here illegally, whites I usually tip 5-10% depending on the service and african americans usually 25-35% because I know most of the time they are born into poverty and given less choices so I like to try and help them be successful as possible where as a white person almost always comes from money and again the spanish are almost always illegal.

I concur with the spanish tipping part unless it's a she and there is a nice bottom to go along with her. I'll usually tip her well for the baby maker.

Point two for whites, meh I usually do 15-20% unless the service is poor then I give them a buck.

For the blacks I figure they come from poverty so most likely they have received enough handouts through social welfare systems and other urban programs. So in theory they have collected enough "tips" from my tax dollors and from my other family members. Plus it is rare to see black servers in any form of restaraunt that requires real work.

Lately, when I have an Asian or Mexican server, I have been taking into consideration what that person would be making back home and then downsizing my tip accordingly. It works out well for me, and in this economy I think it's prudent.
Anyone else do this?
