do you guys think if i get a new car and throw a ported box in there will it really sound dramatically different? It is in a hatchback right now and it gets really friggin loud, like loud enough to make your head feel like it is caving in (mostly from the rolling bass). if i have an ipod in the car it usually bounces all over the place if i lay it down flat.

I dont think losing output is going to have to be much concern in this case, you can make whatever box you want for the w7 based on listening preferances etc, but i like the sound of w7s and plus i think it would be a cooler sub to have in general.
