I have the following, without having to buy a single thing except maybe a wire or two depending on if the ones I had in my jeep will reach all the nooks and crannies of my explorer:
Amp is the Audiobahn A2002T 2-Channel Bridgeable 50 Watt x 2 RMS Amplifier
Subs are 2x 12" W0's in a sealed powerwedge box
All 4 door speakers are Pioneer 6x8 3ways (not 100% sure. I didn't buy/install them but these look like them and they are the only 6x8 pioneer 3ways Crutchfield had on their site.)
Head unit is an Alpine CDA9811 50x4 peak/23rms
My question is, first will the amp power my subs and be good at doing so? Second would I be better off just finding another cheap amp that would do a better job at powering the subs and then just use the audiobahn on two out of 4 of my speakers?(I did this before when I had a RF150a to the subs and it sounded good to me only having 2/4 speakers amp'd)
Keep in mind I'd like to get out of this without paying a dime and just want a cheap throw together system. I'm putting it into a 97 ford explorer that I'm not sure will last through the winter and have a lot of other bills. Buying any equipment would put me close to going over budget in general. If the audiobahn will do an absolute sh*t job of powering the subs then I'll have to make the decision to buy another amp or go subless. It'd all depend on the other amp's cost.
Any help would be appreciated!
