2) 2 of those insignia amps are $360 plus tax...you can pick up a kicker 2500.1 used off here for about that price plus shipping (i saw one for $375 plus shipping...). hmm 800w or 2500w for the same price (and thats IF the insignia even does rated power)

3) that sub is garbage, dont kid yourself

1900d susersport

premier 690ub

kicker zx 650.4

premier rev 6x9s and 6.5s

0 gauge kicker wire red top up front (the Pep Boys one not the group 31) and a kinetik hc 800 in the back. not top of the line, but not insignia either. I still need to do my big 3 though.

I used to lurk for a while then i joined when i really started to get into car audio. This stuff is my first real build. If you sift through the ******** you can get some answers.

Seriously though, I could care less what anybody hears outside my car. I was never impressed by that. A long time ago this one kid had a Pontiac Grand Prix and to me you couldnt sit in his back seat, but you couldn't hear him for blocks and blocks either. That was the kind of sound i was going for.

Musicians generally chose subs with alot of ohms, this guy is no dummy. Ohms are good for SQ. Im surprised you didn't know that.
