yes u do....... get on it, cause i wanna know.
Nimrod married and got his own mother Semiramis pregnant. He got killed because of it and Semiramis convinced the people in Babylon that Nimrod was the sun god baal and that she was a goddess. This is where baal worship originated.

This was also the goddess of the tower of babel. This mother and her child along with the customs that came out of that abomination have poisoned the religions of the world ever since.

It is satan's attempt to replicate God. Satan is always trying to replicate everything God does because he wants to be God. That is why satan is powerful because he replicates everything Almighty God does, with an evil twist. That Semiramis even claimed to be a virgin just like Mary the mother of Jesus.

Time for sleep and I will return after church tomorrow. Maybe I will have some good news for you all.

Also I would love to answer any of you who are not sure, but have an open mind, about God and the bible.

I tell you all what... It is amazing to wake up in the morning and be excited just to be alive. We who accept the gift of grace are awakened unto Christ and are now dead unto the world and its ways. Praise God.

He won't be back. He's probably never even opened a Bible. His type likes to throw out that nonsense with nothing to back it up.
He's what's known as "weak sauce" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
I know I'm digging this up from several pages back, but don't kid yourself. No, I'm not going to go through the Bible and find the specific verses just to prove my point anyone (including myself) who actually HAS read the ENTIRE bible rather than just pointing out well known quotes from the more well-known sections knows that the bible contradicts itself. It's only natural, seeing as it was written by over a dozen different MEN (not written by God, as some people seem to believe). Hell, there are even several books that were REMOVED from the bible centuries ago, in which Peter and others COMPLETELY change their perspective on certain very controversial issues.

Since the death of Jesus, the Christian Church has largely been run as a business. The Roman Catholic Church controlled much of the world for decades. I simply refuse to base my life around a document which has been edited and abridged by corrupt men seeking to preserve their ideals and the status quo.

If you choose to believe everything in the Bible, I have no desire to stop you. If it brings joy or peace to your life, I will not begrudge you your beliefs. Just don't try to push them on me. You will lose. I can, if I were so inclined, dig up documented proof to support my beliefs. You can only regurgitate millenniums-old heresay.

Now, I am not saying, nor will I ever say, that God does not exist. I have seen too much in this world for me to discount his/her/its existence. But if these "brilliant" men couldn't even find 3-story tall dinosaurs that are burried all over the planet, I'm sure there are many other things that were beyond their grasp when/if this god spoke to them. I also don't think God ever stopped talking, or that the way these men saw the world is more important than the way I see it. People seem to think that the Bible represents the final word of God. I think that, because the world has evolved and changed so much, so should our understanding and beliefs. I doubt God would have wanted us to remain stagnant, only believing what ignorant men wrote down thousands of years ago.

Here we go again... this has been covered about 5 times in 2-3 yrs
Troof. I just had almost the same discussion earlier this week with someone else on this forum. This one at least started out as a semi-intelligent sharing of views, but you just can't talk sense with some of these bible thumpers, nor can you get them to stop pushing their own beliefs on everyone else.

IF they wanna believe that nothing happens after death, they can believe that.

I on the other hand, would rather believe in something.

Oops, I misunderstood what side you were on. You're one of the dirty Bible thumpers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/highhorse.gif.6bbb570c3f53dc0dcce8a2b8ad05cf11.gif

JP man. Everyone is entitled to his beliefs, and there is no sense in getting into a big fuss over it. I am naturally a very inquisitive person and I like to analyze things alot, so it's only in my nature to poke holes in stuff whenever I see them. But the more likely scenario is that every single one of the 6 billion plus people on this planet are wrong and we will only find out when we die. After all, the universe goes on beyond any imagining. There's no way anyone could have it figured out yet.

Since you are inquisitive and are obviously intelligent (absolutely no sarcasm intended), please read a short book entitled "More Than a Carpenter" by Josh McDowell. He set out to scientifically disprove the Bible but ended up becoming a believer in Christ. If you are interested, pm me and I will send you the book myself.

I can't find it anywhere for some reason but I know the bible says "not to disregard the wisdom of the ages". Do you think your intellect out weighs centuries of humans just like you?

There is a God and He does communicate with His creation. What the bible says is true.

I am going to church right now. Hopefully I will bring you back something that will spark a fire inside of you.
