sure, but it has to happen sometime, in some way, and ive seen dumber predictions (y2k for one)
I agree, but if someone predicts it I honestly think it will be a fluke, and it was a lucky guess. Why would the earth end 'exactly' 2000 years after the birth of 'Jesus Christ?' It's bullshit. I think there is a better chance of someone finding living organisms on a planet 1,000,000,000 light years away than it would be for someone to accurately predict the end of the world. EVERYTHING must come to an end, and we ALL know that, in some way.

there are at least eleventy-trillion-quadrillion more planets in the universe, you dont think theres a chance that even ONE could be similar to earth, or at least have some form of life on it???
i don't get this picture, explain it to me so i can understand it.

i'm findin, by reading these, it's mostly catholics that become atheists
Thats because catholicism is idolatry. The worship of the virgin mary and her baby stems from the worship of the goddess and her baby that was originally in Rome when the catholic missionaries made an exception for that particular culture.

I don't remember the goddess and her childs name and dont have time to look it up just this second but that is where roman catholic idolatry began and I am not surprised that people brought up in that crap renounce their belief in a god at all.

yet another question that needs to be answered. How do you know the earth will come to an end? Maybe the scientists are wrong, they are human and this could all be false information. We can't even predict the weather correctly sometimes, how can someone predict the end of the world

Because the Sun is a star, it will soon die (not in our life times, nor others for probably millions to billions of years), and once that goes, this earth it go with it, as the Sun will literally explode, and demolish the planet.

yeah, I was honestly kind of kidding about the mayans. I do wonder sometimes if it is real (we cant know yet obviously), but ive read so many articles disproving it, and probably just as many proving it to be true. we will wait and see, and most likely nothing will happen.

true, cause we only have 4 mayan books

that does not mean the earth end ? It could end all human life, but could eventually have life again some day.
