Wiki:I believe there is a God but I choose not to follow any organized religion.
A religion is a set of tenets and practices, often centered upon specific supernatural and moral claims about reality, the cosmos, and human nature, and often codified as prayer, ritual, or religious law.
Hebrews 10:15-17
15And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying,
16"THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM
AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD:
I WILL PUT MY LAWS UPON THEIR HEART,
AND ON THEIR MIND I WILL WRITE THEM,"
He then says,
17"AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS
I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE."
That says to me that the Holy Spirit will tell each person, that accepts the gift of grace, personally the level of dedication excepted by God. So that completely does away with any set beliefs that you have to do this or that then you will be saved. I think religion is a tragedy on a scale much larger than anyone really comprehends. I mean think about it our country(America) is being torn down in it's moral values mainly, I believe, because the body of Christ is too busy bickering with each other, saying "WE ARE RIGHT!! ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED!!" or "NO WE ARE RIGHT!! YOU MUST LIVE COMPLETELY HOLY!!", to get outside of those walls they call the church and DO SOMETHING BEFORE AMERICA DISAPPEARS... Thats my 2 pennies on that one.
