i have to say that i find it very interesting that christians are the only people that truly will ridicule someone if they are of a different faith, when christianity is newer than judiasm, which jesus happened to practice.

I have no problem with people believing in different things. Afterall what those people believe in doesn't affect where I will end up. Some of the Islamic sects however have the belief that they must convert all to islam and those who refuse must be put to death. Religious sects such as these I'm against. All which are peaceful I have no problem with. These sects are dangerous to all people because they end with all sides dieing.

im athiest but im sypathetic. i dont think god should be written out of the constitution and i dont think god should be taken out of the national anthem. the country was founded on christian beliefs and thats that, like it or not

"If I could take all your words away and give you but a sparse few, they would be: ‘I now know, I am absolute, I am complete, I am God, I am.’ If there were no other words but these, you would no longer be limited to this plane."

In other words fellas, YOU are GOD!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif  www.whatthebleep.com

i meant original church... like RIGHT after jesus died. not when those roman f'd it up.
they met in houses... kinda like the "christians" in china and stuff.
Rome was founded over seven hundred years prior to Christ. It was Rome that crusified him. Have you ever wandered why there is a curtain behind the pulpit? Originaly, the people were not allowed to talk to God. The priest would literaly seperate himself from the congregation. Supposably, as christ passed the curtain was ripped in half.

See now is where you are losing your ability to reason. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
For lack of a better term, Adam made a stupid decision. If he had a better ability to comprehend what the consequences of his actions were... he wouldn't have made that choice. What would God's test mean if all thinking were a sin?

Infact, how can you even interpret what God wants without thinking? You don't even make sense.
you have no clue what you are talking aobut, i am not going to argue with you about anything again

hundreth has never been known for his wit
i don't want to be mean tothe guy but nothing he has said makes sense at all, and then he tells me that I don't make sense and don't know what I am talking about, so I guess he just can't comprehend

Its really complicated and different for everyone, obviously. I cant really say that i do, just because of the amount of evidence that questions it that i choose to believe. I find alot of it really hard to believe. So, to make it really short, no.

The Catholics had numerous inquisitions and the colonization Africa and Asia by Europeans did amounted to the same thing. All religions have the extremists somewhere in their camp who will kill those who don't agree with them. One of the lesser known chosen duties of al-Qaeda is actually to eliminate those who they believe defile the teachings of Muhammad i.e. other Islamic sects who they see as being deviant. Just a year or so ago one of the leaders from a more underground, none traditional mosque was stalked and then murdered. No one knows by who but it is widely believed the hit was by a member of a more findamentalist mosque.

I guess that would make me reighteous by your point of view...

dude, you are stupid. I said man's reasoning led to sin, not every thought of man is sin, however most of them are.

but you aren't the sharpest tool in the shed man, so don't make dumb comments like that anymore, it's not cool

I am christian, and our country was not founded on religion. There is a very nice histogram of the constitution. Look up the governments home page. There is no reference to religion. In fact, three of our founders were athiest. You might be suprised as to who. Do you recall a story of one of the founders translating the bible. In reality, he wrote a version that emitted any referance to God. The term, "In God We Trust" was placed on the national currency after the civil war. It was suggest by a Catholic priest that felt that our nation needed to improve its image of slavery.

Did someone make that computer you are typing on right now?

Whatever man, believe what you want...

"Reason is the root to all evil"

I like it.

I don't even claim to have answers, I was playing devil's advocate and wanted to see where it would lead. Once thinking turned into a sin, I knew our conversation was doomed.

our country was founded based on "christian beliefs"
