That all RCA's are the same, so long as they are "shielded". What makes Knu's top of the line $80 RCA's better than Wal-Mart's $6 RCA's?? Build quality is the obvious, but what does that extra $74 get you??

I'd disagree somewhat.

Once you get up to the $20 range, they all seem about the same to me. $6 seem a little flimsy.

on some sets the shielding is much better, less noise.

and some might just spontaneously implode.

But see I've used the Wal-Mart brand before and have NEVER had any noise issues, my only problem is they are flimsy as all hell and aren't nearly as "durable" as the Stinger/JL RCA's I usually use, but they do the job just fine. All that means is that I can't be as rough with them while doing the installation, I have to take the extra time and effort to make sure they don't snag on anything and rip in two.

radioshack rca's are working just as well as my streetwires did, with the same equipment. expensive rca's are a waste of cash.

I usually stay away from Knu RCA's, in my opinion the build quality just isn't there. I've gone through 3 sets now, and I'm done with it. I've switched to JL/Stinger and haven't looked back. But....funds are tight now, so I am looking at Wal-Marts RCA's again.

I used the knu eko rcas that came with my 4 awg kit. never had a problem and plan to use them again.

its all relative. i mean don't spend $100 on some RCA's but at the same time i had a set of pepboys RCA's that the connectors fell off.

But any quality decent priced RCA will be fine.

i used qpower rca's from the flea market. They were $4 and better than any walmart trash. They have nice 0 gauge wire too, terminals, fuses, etc.
