i was real bored one day, went throught my parent's attic and found a whole bunch of antique-type stuff that they didn't want anymore, sold about 5 things made almost 1500 dollars.

also cleaned out my room one day found all kinds of crazy shit and just sold it on ebay, weird stuff, sold a lot of 10 t-shirts, made 100 bucks, old pairs of pants 25 bucks a pop, think i made about 750 all together.

it's not crazy amounts of money, but it was some extra spending money i guess.

the problem i have with making money on ebay, is i'll sell a TON of stuff, go out and get what i wanted with the money, and then after the money's gone, i'll get my outrageous ebay bill.

$2 or $3 per auction racks up quick.

this is the same flaw with the 'make money on ebay' dropshipping gimmicks, where you pay a membership fee to be able to drop ship stuff from an online company on ebay, but any profits you make disappear into ebay fees.
