Do speakers need to be broken in

I have never broken anything in besides subs. And all I do when breaking in subs is mount them in a baffle across a trash can. And play some tones through them for about half an hour. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Speakers arent the same way subs are...That doesnt mean blair the living bejesus out of them out of the box, but you could say 2 or 3 days of listening them instead of the 1-2 weeks like subs are...

i runn speakers full range for about 1 week to loosen up the spider and surround and subs i give a good floging after 3 hours of 50 hz tones through a home stereo with low pass the coil stays cold but the amp gets as hot as christ
