Do Rim brands matter?

I was looking at some rims and just wondering if there are any big differences between rim brands. Looking to get some rims for my Honda Accord and a friend suggested me to get these:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&autoMake=Honda&autoModel=Accord+Sedan+LX&autoYear=1999&autoModClar=&initialPartNumber=LV4655401144A&i1_Qty=4&wheelMake=Borbet&wheelModel=LV4&wheelFinish=Anthracite+Painted&showRear=no

There are cheaper rim brands such as Drag and VSR, I can find them all at Tire rack and eBay.

Any suggestions guys?

i honestly dont know but when i was 17 i bought a set of excel ennio wheels which were pretty cheap but never had any issues with them but then again i only drove the car with them for about 6 months and it has been sitting in storage and basically hasnt moved for 4 years. car is in my avator

They only matter in the sense that you can compare a pair of pants from JCPenny's and a pair of the same pants available at Ross or any other outlet.

9/10 of those wheels are manufactured at the same facility, under the same conditions.

Once you get into comparing cast wheels, to forged wheels... then you're talking different qualities.

Small variations, like paint quality, are going to be the main changes from brand to brand.

That's the one. I forget the name... I just remembered that someone got a full set, took them out to the track, and at the end of the day, they were completely warped.

Link me, because the only confirmed picture I have seen of this was the picture of the set that had a 'twist' to them afterwards.

Which is clearly a sign of the caliper matching the inside of the spokes... which is NOT a Rota issue.

Whoops!

I actually kinda dig em with the twist.

If you where Smart you would buy a car with the parts all ready on it and drive it the way it is. Cars are not investment they go down in value no matter what you put in to it. So drive it the way you bought it. Don't die for eye candy its a waste of money like it or not it's the truth.

So, everyone that modifies a vehicle to fit their needs or desires is an idiot?
