Someone want to give me a quick recap of this thread. I am buying a 300amp alternator form him shortly. So if there is a problem I would like to know now, and 11 pages of reading is probably 10 pages of BS, with 1 page of facts. So if I could just get some quick facts I would highly appreciate it.

bought a 250 amp alt from nate in august 2005. i didn't get a chance to install it till about late october. it was dead straight out of the box. call nate up, send it back, i paid for return shipping, he fixed it, i get it back. november i get to install it. this one is junk right out of the box again. it's now mid december when i call to get it fixed. i asked him for a refund and he says he gives no refund. i send it back to him. i told him how important it was i get it back before christmas because i'm moving to florida, right after christmas. he says no problem. i even leave a note in the alt, about it. it's getting close to christmas and no alt. i ask him about it, and he just fixed it, and is going to send it out before he goes on vacation. well it's too late to make it here in time. i ask for a refund again. he said if he knew i wanted a refund, he would've refunded it. i made it clear before i wanted a refund. if i didn't catch him before he went on vacation, he would've went and shipped it to an empty house. i ask him to hold on to it now. well florida didn't work out so i'm back in michigan around mid january. get the alt back and install it myself. now this is northern michigan, with no heated garage in the middle of january. the alt is installed but never worked great, but worked none the less. it whined, flucuated in rpm's, and didn't put out 14.5 volts like my stock did. it kept getting worse, so finally come may, i sent him a sarcastic e-mail. he replied by calling me a *****. that's when this thread got created. he said to send it back in, but i am sick of his lies (i caught him in a lie in this thread. he said i sent several e-mails cursing at him, even though i proved i didn't, and he couldn't prove i did) i decided to take it to a local alternator shop instead of going through this bs, of shipping back and forth and getting junk. the alt shop fixes it, and puts a bench test on it, and says it's only running at 160 amps. i find out he has a group buy and comfront him about my alt. (roe) he pm's me and ask what my problem is. he said he would take care of any problems. finally in the last pm, he wanted to know who i was, so i told him and asked him to take a look at it, and see why it isn't producing 250 amps. well once i told him i am iceteebone from ca.com, he has since ignored me, and that is where we stand

Ok, i am just going to make a new thread asking who has received a working alternator fromm Nate. This thread makes it seem as if this guy cannot build alternators for sh!t. At the same time, people are thinking this is happening to every costumer. Too many factors to conclude that its the alternator at fault.

trust me it's the alt. kinda hard to **** up an alt install. after i got it fixed it by the local alt shop, it has worked fine but the guy said it only benched at 160 amps
