Sold Do MTX Thunder 8000s get good mids?

I was thinking of purchasing the Thunder 8000s but i was wondering if they gave out good mids. Does anyone that has heard them know?

Are you refering to the subs or their midbass/component set speakers?

If you are refering to the speakers...than yes, they are ok...though I would opt for something else.

ss3079 you may not agree with me here....lol, because you never do...but the infinity kappa 3 way 61/2 sound wonderful great midbass and soung quality...not a bad buy at all and I only have 45rms....need somthing like 85rms.

It's all about personal preference...listen to them before you buy them.

i mean mid frequency bass,kinda like on still fly by big timers how it goes from high frequency to low. DUH

I wouldnt think they would, but I know for a fact the jl audio 12w3 does, because I have a pair.....and I know first hand.

well i wanna get somethin thats competition style,ear poppin, make it hard to breath style subwoofer.

Dude you have alot to learn.....first of all what kinda competition? SPL or SQ? Also your not gonna do very well with those subs I tell you that! I would be looking for somthing more along the lines of shocker extreme 15's, Brahma 15's Edk 15's, RE XXX 15's...those are your best bets and if you have never heard of them thats because they are not main stream items like fosgate, jl audio, audiobahn...also for mid bass bro your not gonna get that either with ear poppin, make it hard to breath style subwoofers....

So if you really want help then set a price range on subs and we can tell you the best for your money and a good amp to push them....

We really need to know what you really want also. Some people like alot of sound quality when looking for a subwoofer....I could really care less, because I just want a full range of SPL out of my woofers and let the speakers front and back take care of the sound quality....so if your looking for the thunder that bounces your nutsack all over your seat like me then your gonna want to look into a full spl woofer.....

Just a thought though Im looking hard into the lighting audio storm woofers...they are competition ready and full spl woofer. You need to see one also and here you can
