Do Mach5 subs compete with Peerless XLS line of subwoofers objectively?

From a purely objective standpoint, do the Mach5 subwoofers compete with Peerless XLS subwoofers in terms of distortion performance?

I saw the Mach5 subwoofers were part of the Great 12 challenge, but saw no distortion charts. Has any distortion testing been done?

nope.. we didn't do distortion testing...

while its a great graph to look at.... the majority of users out there couldn't tell a difference between 4%, and 10%... even though 6% is the industry accepted spec for threshold of audibility...

I have never encountered distortion from a driver itself as an audible problem in any way, but that's just me.
