Do I still need a crossover ?

Ok, I have one pair of pioneer 12" TSW303F subwoofers and one set of MB Quart DSD 216, my headunit does not have crossover so I decided to buy the Kenwood KGC-4042A equalizer, do I still need a crossover ??

if the Kenwood KGC-4042A equalizer has channels for front rear and sub and also has high and low pass then no. i am not all that sure i was told to get one that had high and low pass and a bunch turning nobs not the ones that slide. i have a crossover that came with my perfects and that rins a high pass and my amp and i still need something to take the bass out cause my doors rattle way to much
