do i need to amp components?

i want to purchase some Sundown SA components this summer... but do i need to amp them? i understand that if you amp them you'll obviously have more volume/quality, but will they be able to keep up with my 2k substage unamped? thanks

i'm not looking to hear "just buy an amp" i'd like an actual answer as money (and available space) is a little tight

any suggestions as to what i should do since space is an issue? i don't wanna mount two amps on my enclosure because i don't wanna destroy the internals of the amp(s)

There are very small amps out now.... Mount to back seat? You really will want to amp them also its sooo much better lol

vfl 150.4 or a ph 4100 ,massive 4 channel mini ,and there are a couple others to ,soundstream ,arc audio

This the pbr300x2 does 75x2 at 4 and 150x2 at 2 and they are usually a little underrated. Like 90x2@4

Sonic has them for under 200

Man i have the Alpine ktp-445u amp and it fits right behind my radio so i didnt have to mount it anywhere and nobody can even see it. I have it bridged its pumping out 90 watts to my front components and they sound amazing i tell people im running the components off the radio but after i crank up the volume its pretty obvious they arent lol.

I did a LOT of homework for my front stage amp, and budget was an issue for me as well. I went over budget with my PHD components but anyway... I wound up going with the PPI 900.4 amplifier. And when I say I did a lot of homework, I did a LOT of homework. Amp is under 200.00.
