Long story short:
I ordered some camera parts last Sunday afternoon from an online store.
I realized the next morning that I ordered the wrong sizes and e-mailed the company immediately to tell them either change the order to the appropriate parts, or cancel it altogether and I would re-order. I get an e-mail back 2 hours later saying they had already sent the order out and to refuse the item when it arrived at my house. Well, FedEx didn't have a signature requirement, and I wasn't there to refuse. So, I then had to pay to get it sent back.
I just got my refund today for the purchase, without the initial shipping costs ($17). Do I have any basis to write the company and demand I be re-imbursed for my shipping charges since I had tried to cancel the order(the initial, not for sending it back; I'm willing to eat that $5)? I'm kind of pissed, but I guess it's my own fault. What do you think?
