why post the peak then???? only confuses newbs....never seen any great boss amps myself.....always heard horror stories about how overated they are

they post peak bc then newbs actually think the amp puts out that many watts. like my friend thinks his jensen 2ch. 340watt max amp actually pushes that. doesn't realise that its 170 bridged at 4ohm and 85a channel at 4ohm

well, there is aguy here running 6 12inch cerwin vegas off of a boss monoblock amp his car is very very loud....the amp has 3 40 amp fuses.....

and i believe quite a few years ago there was a jensen loaded car that did quite well in iasca.....(done just to prove a point that it's all in the install..)
