DIY components ?

Was looking for recommendations for a DIY component set.

Anyone have any experience? Was thinking something from parts express.

Under $150, with passive x-overs

100WRMS @ 4 ohms

70WRMS @ 2 ohms

Front pair, to be used with a seperate sub and in glassed pods.

Most people who do DIY do not run a passive network. We use a active x-over set-up. If you know how to build your own passives or know someone whiling to build the passive network for you then you could do passive.

For speakers I would look at the Dayton, Vifa, TangBand and HI-VI drivers. You put a 2-way set-up together on your budget.

I suppose i could go active. I'll have to look into it a bit more.
