Divider inside with a hole

I have 2 12 inch old school kicker comps with a bridged kicker impulse 654xi amp. The subs are in a sealed enclosure that divided into 2 spaces but the divider board has a hole right in the middle about 1 inch in diameter. Should this hold be there or not? When you push on one speaker the other speaker pushes out because of the air going through. When i have both speakers hooked up they dont hit as hard as when i just have one speaker on.
