LongThrow
My Kickers be swaggin'
I just ordered a PPI 650.1, says It'll do 650 @ 2 ohms to power 2 JBL GT5s in a sealed box. Dad a strict budget of $300 and had some good advice on getting a cheap system threw together quickly. I have 4g CCA KnuK power and ground, with KnuK RCAs and dbLink distroblocks. I also have a Jensen DUBA4100 4 channel to power my speakers (I added rear fill in my rear deck, gonna run it like this until I can get some powerful components and leave the rearfill alone) Amp specs say it pushes 70w @ 4 x 4ch and 10 @ 2 x 4ch.
I was wonder, if I could run true 4g to a distro block, reduce down to true 8g to my sub amp, and 8g to my door speaker amp. I know the Jensen will be fine on 8g, but I'm wondering if I'll have any problems running my sub amp. Will the 8g suffice?
ALSO
My DUB amp has a pre-amp output, to daisy chain another amp. I have front preout from my headunit, going to channel 1 and 2 of my amp. And im using the pre-amp output to daisy chain THE SAME AMP, but to channel 3 and 4.
Will running RCA Y cable from my front RCA output, to connect to a 4 channel cause audio loss? Or cause some sort of problem SQ wise? My headunit only has a sub out and front out, could I use that front out, and use a splitter to connect two different RCAs to the same output to run channels 1&2 with channels 3&4?
