Distribution Block

Is it worth (necessary getting one becasue I'm planning on upgrading my amp soon (something in the 1000w range).

I got the block that has 4g input and 2 8g outputs with two fuses.

Right now I have a Alpine MRP240 and a Bazooka ELA500.1 (getting rid of the bazooka soon another 6mos perhaps). sooo

Is it worth it? Do they only sell 0/1g to 4g, 4g to 8g?

OR, could I put a bigger fuse in the side where I'm running 4g and just cram 4g out to the amp?

Thanks.

yeah they sell many different types of distro blocks 4 to 4 gauge etc., you just have to find them. you prolly want to upgrade your power wire to 2 or 0 gauge, get an ANL fuse holder for your inline.

u kno what pissed me off. I spent a hella time look for a
4-4 distroblock but they all looked like 4-8 turns out most of them can do 4-4.
Yea that what I want to know, can i just cram a bigger fuse i want to run a 4g from a 8g terminal and then out to the amp?

All I'm doing is running two amps. Just a bigger sub amp soon.

Well i dont like the word CRAM heh...

get a fuse the proper amp rating to protect your amps.

if the 4 gauge wire will fit easily into the outs on the distroblock and the terminals in your amp then no problem.

but dont go trying to get creative everything should fit easily. we aint talkin about 19 yearold blondes.... no cramming allowed.
