Hey guys, I have a fused distribution block with 4 outputs. Wondering if it would be okay to combine 2 of the +12V outputs onto one amplifier.

The reason is they use AGU fuses that only go up to 80 amps and my amplifier needs to be fused at 120A.

Would combining 2 +12V outputs fused at 60A each going to the same amplifier be okay? would it give me a final fused rating near 120A

Obviously I would combine 2 grounds with equal guage wire to compensate.\

Thanks.

Yea, I can only find them up to 80A.

Anyone know about the original question. Is it okay to combine 2 - 60A +12V leads to make one approximate 120A +12V lead?

IIRC you can find glass fuses over 80A, you just have to look for them. I think I've seen either a 100 or 120A fuse.
