distribution block reduce power?

if i run 2/0 welding cable from battery to a distribution block were it will split into 2/0 for bass amp and 4g for4 channel amp will i lose power? will my bass amp not see the full current? or should i run 4 gauge directly from battery to amp aswell?

Use the blocks more ring terminals = more resistance and less power. Same with long runs of wire

my power wire from batt to amp is going to be maybe 17ft long ima run it under my truck into the bed where i will have an amp rack for both amps. im planning on second batt and alternator but first i want to see exactly how low my voltage goes, (advised from you) so i should just do what i lpanned originally 2/0 split into two amps with one distro block?

just go for the second batt right now and use that to split off to the different amps.
