Distribution block/ Bus Bars / Multiple Runs?

I am to the point where I am preparing myself for a lot more power after I figure out placement and get money for a bigger amps and more speakers, more batteries, etc. I have a few questions.

What is the difference between a Distro block and a Bus bar, are they considered the same thing, from my knowledge a distro block takes a wire and split its into multiple sizes for multiple amps, is this a bad thing? If my power wire goes from the battery pos to the distro then splits to two different amps will that cause the voltage to be split unevenly amongst the two?

Are bus bars used just for power or grounds as well? If I have multiple batteries do they all ground to the same spot? Whats another way of grounded your amps/batteries besides the chassis, can you run those into a bus bar then ground the bus bar somehow?

Lastly what does it mean to have multiple runs of wire, I hear people say 2 or 3 runs of power or ground wire? Does that mean one battery pos terminal will have 2 or more wires going to the alternator?

Can anyone clear all this stuff up for me please, I am trying my best to find my own answers but sometimes you just have to ask to get a better picture.

buss bars are a way to connect multiple batts together and add wires if needed .you can also use buss bars on the front batt so that you can add multiple runs of wire from frt to back .distros are basically the same except they mount to 1 battery only or somewhere in the car to split the wire for more amps.they dont split the voltage if thats what your asking all the amps will see the same voltage .ans if you wanna go big the yes many runs of wire frnt to back ,i do both power and ground and so does most competitors that are loud .you can ground to the frame as well and run grounds to the frt battery and use those grounds to.

So when people say multiple runs they are saying between alternator + and battery + right? Also on my 2010 camaro stock battery is in the trunk.

No, they are not referring to that at all. As stated earlier,^^ they are referring to multiple runs of their POWER WIRE from Bat + to their Amps.
If you had multiple amps in your car how would you supply power to them? Run multiple runs of power wire from the Bat, and this can be done through distro blocks, bars, etc...

It does not matter where your battery is located so if yours is in the trunk you are going to get away with the ability to use shorter wires, this is good.

Good luck
