wat does it sound like? i have my gain up 1/4 the way and my bass boost all the way up..... i dont no how to set the high and low pass filters so...... well ne way can ne one help me out?

Turn ur bass boost down. And switch it to low pass filter and set it around 80-120hz

Solid-state distortion sounds like ***...you should turn off your bass boost, it's not helpful.

"Distortion" is a very broad term though; you mean what does a clipped signal sound like? There are ten million kinds of distortion, some much worse to listen to than others...

my bass sounds good to me.... just someone told me today that there was some distortion in it.... does ne one have a kenwood kdc-2022 headunit or ever had one? i cant find the bassboost on it or anything..... or would that be the loudness button?

"Loudness" would usually be it...there's probably a bass boost on your amp as well.

If it sounds good to you, well, that's really all that matters.

If it sounds good to you, well, that's really all that matters.

there is a bass boost on my amp and its turned all the way up... my gain is 1/4 the way up and i have it on the lpf and im pretty sure the lpf nob is between loke 90 and 100.... could it be the subs?

turn the bass boost down to atleast 1/4 . i dont think it would ever be a good idea to have that all the way up.

Turn down the bass boost, set your gains properly with a DMM and fiddle with the LPF to where you think it sounds best - that will probably be within 70-100Hz.
