Dissappointment going from 12" to 15"

ive just got my arsenal 15" installed and it slams in the highs and keep up with everything! lows are amazing and the highs slams, accurate and is "quick" , for example , techno, trance, it keep up pretty well! specs are in my sig!

thatll be a little louder. gainging a little over 50 sq inches of cone area. isnt fs higher on the xxx 12s, tho?
hey how would you compare a 06' 12"XXX vs. 12"w7 one on one comparision?loudness&accuracy&lows

thx

In optimum setups for both .. The xxx will walk away the winner if it lives up to all the hype .. IMO the w7 and last years xxx was more of a comparison.. Havent heard the 06 XXX so i could'nt tell you anymore than RE has told me, which is " the Best SQL woofer we've built " And somthething the JL rep would like to have in his own car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif .. You' buy one then tell me if there right, i dont have the room for that thing:p:

One cannot simply give an answer based on TS params, which I hope he is using to base his speculation. Only YOU, or someone who has tested both drivers could give an accurate one on one comparison based on something other than BS.

Great minds think alike:)

What if two subs one being an 8 and the other being an 18 inch sub have the same size motor but obviously the 18 has a heavier cone and has to push more air with that same motor will the 18 still be as quick as the 8?
Yes. did you not read the link?

Qualitycarerock was right a 12 will play just as low as a 15. Heck a 8 will play just as low as a 15.

Playing low and low end extension are 2 different things.

If you have the room to use the 15's optimally, IMO do it. You will gain output and low end extension. These are + in my book.

Yes, given they are in identical box alignments.
