got my setup in my sig metered today, did a 135.6 sealed up on the TL at 48 hz. i guess thats not too bad for 1 12" on 1000 watts, but i was hoping for better seeing as how i have a single cab truck. i guess i'd have to blame my extremely inefficient box for the lackluster score, 1.4 cubes with 2 3" pvc ports tuned to 36 hz.

Dash and sealed up are death in a regular cab //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

We do high 146.1 with the mag 12" and 1100rms at 36hz

also Clif does a 149.7 with mt 12" and 2 20.1 amps 36 hz

dakota

there is barely ANY room behind the seats. bottom depth- 7", top depth 3", 45" wide and 15" tall MAX dimnesions. reg cabs ****.

what do the scores usually run in my class at meets. i think i might hit one up in tampa, Audio X Db Drag Event in riverview (near tampa), should i blow another $25 on getting metered again? i think i might duct tape the ports (not totally airtight) and drop my amp from 2 ohms down to .5 for the burp. so maybe around a 138 if i burp before my volts drop i'd hope. should i bother entering or will i get blown out of the water?

yeah hard to post a good score without a ton of power in a single cab //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
Hell, even a ton of power doesn't help a regular cab when it's sealed up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

you wanna share some tips? i'd say 150 isnt bad for a reg cab, lol. is it just shovin a big box behind your seat and makin it look as ugly as possible and tape on some 4 in aeros? but back to my question, should i bother entering a comp, or will it just be a waste of $25.

That 150 is an outlaw score (meaning the meter is in the kick with a door/window open).

My truck only does about a 145-146 sealed up on the dash with the 10".
