Though call.

Both offer virtually identical power output for virtually identical pricing.

The Eclipse is class D, so in it's favor goes slightly higher efficiency throughout the entire range of power.

On the other hand, the actual difference in current draw will very likely be relatively minor in the grand scheme of things. And the JBL offers slightly more flexible xover features with selectable 12db/24db slopes. So if you were needing to use the onboard xovers, the JBL would likely be your best bet.

Besides those, are physical size and cosmetics to consider. I don't know off hand if there is any significant differences in physical size, but if you are size constrained that's something else to look at.

But yeah....IMO it really comes down to whether you really care about having slightly higher efficiency or slightly more flexible xovers, and which amplifier best fit your size/cosmetic appeal. Because price/power wise there's no clear advantage either way.
