Disaster Vinyl Follow-up (With Bragging rights)

not picking apart... constructive criticism... plus i just like a nicely done 2 tone job //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
2 tone is an option... my interior is tan but a bit darker... I plan on getting vinyl die and I suppose I have options to go 2 tone..I'd have to confer with my woman for color choice though... I could never make a nice looking combo of colors...

well I'm done and the creases are gone... next step is to trim the vinyl back on the base and glue the rings on.... then drill countersink holes for the mounting bolts deep enough to fit my wooden plugs in... then I need to find some good vinyl dye

does anyone have a prefered vinyl dye company?

the secret to wrapping complex curves and panels with vinyl is acouple of things..

#1...panel has to be near perfect..I tend to make every thing like I'm going to paint it..if not any flaw will show...

#2 if the vinyl has a backing..take a razor and remove the nylon backing...once this is done you can wrap a basketball with it...but be carefull...doing this makes it more likely to tear...

ahh I see... my vinyl is "marine" vinyl that had the backing... it wouldn't conform where the rings met the main peice well enough to stick. However doing each peice indiviually worked well... thanks for the tip..

Any idea who makes and sells good vinyl dye? most of the places I looked are either shady or look like they'd get around to it when they felt like it.
